Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of IDReady, the IDReady online service at idready.app (the "Service"), operated by EngineerApart Software Consulting, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

IDReady helps you prepare identification and visa-style photos by guiding you through document selection, automated processing (such as cropping and background adjustment), and compliance checks against specifications we maintain for supported document types. Deliverables are digital files made available for download after payment, along with email delivery of download links where applicable.

Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload any photo you submit (including photos of minors for whom you are the parent or legal guardian).

Your content

You retain ownership of photos you upload. You grant us a limited license to host, process, transform, and transmit your images solely to operate the Service, fulfill your order, prevent abuse, and improve our systems. You represent that your content does not violate law or third-party rights and that you will not upload unlawful, offensive, or misleading material.

Orders, payment, and delivery

  • Prices, discounts, and taxes (if any) are shown at checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe; completing checkout authorizes the charge shown.
  • Digital products are delivered by making processed files and download links available after successful payment. Ensure your email address is correct—we rely on it to deliver access to your order.
  • Refunds and cancellations are described in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Photo specifications and government acceptance

IDReady compares your image to official photo specifications we maintain for each document type—covering factors such as head size and position, eye height, background color, and output resolution. Our goal is to help you produce a photo that aligns with those published rules. However, acceptance is decided only by the government office or agency that receives your application. Requirements can change without notice, and examiners may apply standards we cannot see. We do not warrant or guarantee that any photo will be approved. Before you submit an application, confirm the latest requirements on the official issuer's website or instructions.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for fraud, impersonation, or to create false identity documents.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Circumvent technical limits, access controls, or pricing.
  • Upload malware or content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations or suspected abuse.

Intellectual property

The Service, including software, design, text, specifications databases, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or materials except as needed to use the Service as intended.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, OR THAT OUTPUT FILES WILL MEET EVERY OFFICIAL REQUIREMENT OR BE ACCEPTED BY ANY AUTHORITY.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ENGINEERAPART SOFTWARE CONSULTING, INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR AN ORDER WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THAT ORDER IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100) IF YOU PAID NOTHING, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless EngineerApart Software Consulting, Inc. and its affiliates from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Changes

We may modify the Service or these Terms. We will post updated Terms at https://idready.app/terms with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Except where prohibited, you agree that exclusive jurisdiction for disputes relating to these Terms or the Service lies in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
